Cool Beach Videos

Well Matt and Betty have been stuck at home due to budget constraints. They got to go to the beach the other day and play a little. Here are a few videos to tie you over until they get out and do something new.

New LP's

Matt and Betty just got two great new albums from ebay. They are Who's Next by the Who and Rumours by Fleetwood Mac. Here are some pictures.

The Beatles Rock Band

Matt just got the new Beatles Rock Band. Here are two videos of the animation in the game. Note that this had to be filmed with a camcorder pointed at a CRT TV so it has some black bars running through it. Also note that Matt is a noob at rockband and is not very good. Now on to the show.

New Used Turntable

Today Matt and Betty got their first turntable (Well Matt's first turntable). They bought it used at a second hand shop. After trying so hard to think of what album would be their first they found "America", which was only 10 cents. They are looking forward to collecting many more albums. Here are some pictures of the record and player after a good cleaning. In the future there will be a slide show on the sidebar showcasing new albums.

Goings On

TODAY IS JAMISON'S BIRTHDAY!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMISON!!!

Betty and Matt had a visitor the other night at the rain barrel out front. There are a lot of frogs here, especially when your turn the porch light on at night.

The star cactus on the back porch is getting ready to bloom again and this time they plan to get it all on camera. This time there are eight blooms on it and they hope to have them all come to bloom.

Matt and Betty have put up a bird feeder and hope that once the birds find it they will be posting pics of visitors to it.

They are going to spend the day with Jamison for his B-day. Betty baked a RED velvet cake with cream cheese icing and is going to make Linguine and clam sauce for him for dinner.

Space Shuttle Launch

On Friday NASA launched the space shuttle Discovery to deliver supplies and the Combined Operational Load Bearing External Resistance Treadmill to the space station. The Combined Operational Load Bearing External Resistance Treadmill or COLBERT was named after Stephen Colbert from Comedy Central's The Colbert Report. Anyway here is the footage that Matt and Betty took from the beach outside of Betty's Dad's condo. This was taken 100 miles away from Cape Canaveral.

Trip to the beach.
